Tyres FAQs
How do I find my tyre size?
Look at the sidewall of your current tyre for a code like 205/55 R16 91V. That is your size. Or just give us your registration and we will look it up for you.
Can you repair a puncture instead of replacing the tyre?
Often, yes. If the damage is in the repairable area of the tread and the tyre is otherwise sound, a repair is safe and much cheaper. If it is in the sidewall or the tyre is worn, we will show you why it needs replacing.
Do I need to replace tyres in pairs?
It is good practice to replace tyres in pairs across an axle so grip is even, but it is not always essential. We will give you honest advice based on the condition of your other tyres.
What if I can't get to your depot?

What is the legal minimum tread depth?
The UK legal minimum is 1.6mm across the central three-quarters of the tread. Below 3mm, wet grip drops noticeably, so pop in and we will check your tread free of charge.
