When is my MOT due?
Your MOT is due every year once your vehicle is three years old. You can check your exact due date free on the GOV.UK MOT history service using your registration, or call us on 0191 377 0928 and we'll check while we book you in.
How long does an MOT take?
A standard MOT test usually takes around 45 minutes to an hour. If anything needs attention we can often carry out the repair the same visit, and we will always give you a price and get your go-ahead first.
What happens if my vehicle fails?
We'll talk you through exactly what failed and why, and give you a clear quote to put it right. As a full garage we can handle most MOT repairs on site, from tyres and brakes to exhausts and suspension. And if we carry out the repair work, your retest is free.
Can I wait while the MOT is done?
Yes, you are welcome to wait at our Bowburn depot while we test your vehicle.
Do you MOT vans, campers and motorhomes?
